I recently bought some on amazon…All different conditions…All different prices,But no matter the cost, You can’t place a value on bringing back some “Em Time” in to your life For his friends, which I count myself a life member…do any of you know what it took for me to convince EM that he really was a story we all wanted to have forever and spend 2 hours every day keeping him committed to just being “EM’…How much he loved the kids and their ponies, despite their parents…knowing that he was a” force of one" but determined to never disappoint his kids. I buy the books to give to todays young riders ( not ONLY pony kids) and hope just by looking at my photos of him they will get the feeling of a time that once was when there was a man who cared not if they won…but were they happy…Miss you Em…Getting tired looking for another real horseman that you could even sit down with for lunch…
in every world there is one who most will never have the privilege of sharing a moment with the way it should be…unless you were one of his kids…and he’d give you everything he had…

On a side note, it was either last year or the year before but his granddaughter was actually riding a pony he originally found! Talk about full circle. I just found that so sweet!

I got our copy on Amazon years ago. It is a great book!
We were just at FHC last weekend and I was so happy to see Sunny still riding! She looks exactly the same, still exercising multiple horses a day in her racing saddle

Sorry for dredging up an old post; does anyone have a copy they might be interested in selling? I would love to purchase a copy but I bought one on amazon and it got “lost” in the mail and now the used copies are upwards of $800 on amazon:(
My copy was a gift when the book was first published. I have it right here in the living room but would not part with it even for $800. But keep looking because I often find old horse books where a particular book is selling for a large amount but then I will come across the same title at a much lesser price. Don’t give up.

Stalk eBay. I found my copy there a number of years ago. It’s on my “prized possessions” list.

Thanks everyone, I will keep searching and scouring ebay. I am just dying that the copy I purchased disappeared in the mailðŸ˜ÂðŸ˜Â😠maybe someone will get it back in print it like the geoff teall book.
