Hello, I watched parts of this class yesterday, and really liked Baylee Rowan’s round but I am conpletely confused about her score. She had a rail and wasn’t penalized the way some of the others were. I am happy she did well (she got a ribbon) but very confused - did the judges just not see the green rail fall? Again, not critiquing the child, just trying to understand the scoring decision. Thanks.
It is a rule in equitation, that if a rail is determined not to be the fault of the rider, it is a 4 point deduction only. So if she had an 88 for instance, she would still and up with an 84.
