Has anyone had experience with this? I’ve seen some posts where horses have had a combination IBD, but not just eosinophilic. Has anyone ever treated it successfully long term - and had the horse have a relatively normal riding career? This is a young mare and I haven’t seem much posted about young horses with it, and most of the posts are not very encouraging. I’m also wondering if anyone treated it with cyclosporine or one of the autoimmune suppressants vs steroids which have a risk of laminitis, especially for one so young that may need to be on treatment for a long time.
