Equaderm?

Just looking for reviews from folks who have used any of their products. The shampoo, conditioner and skin Lotion looks pretty good.

Just used the skin lotion for the icky gelding fungus on the hind cannons and on some facial ickies- cleared it up pronto,
like in a day or so. Lots of folks here recommended it.

Are you talking about Equiderma? I use the fly spray, lotion, and shampoo. Love it all! Can’t recommend it enough. My mares coat is shiny and soft, and the lotion cleared up her rain rot so fast, I was shocked.

Yup I meant equiderna, sorry for the misspelling. I think I will give it a try

I picked some up after reading rave reviews on COTH, and yes, it is shockingly good (the Equidrema lotion. I haven’t tried their other products). Use as directed - on dry but brushed clean horse. Rub it in. Wait. I use it for just about everything but it is magical for canon crud (no scrubbing, the crud just wipes off in a couple of days). Works fast on rain rot.

Curious to know what the shampoo smells like.

Honestly, looking at the ingredients, the skin lotion would be VERY easy to make at home. However, I have heard fantastic things about it. The shampoo and conditioner are definitely on my to- try list.

I totally splurged and bought a few of their products after seeing how well the skin lotion worked for a friend’s horse with fungus on his face and reading reviews. Her horse’s fungus went away with one use, after being a problem for years! I’ve similarly started using it on my horse’s tail, which he has rubbed incessantly for YEARS despite all of the worm/allergy testing you can think of, and trying every cream, ointment, home remedy out there. Knock on wood, so far so good!

I’ve also been using the fly spray. I’ve found commercial fly spray just doesn’t do anything besides smell bad (and yes, I buy the expensive stuff!). But since I’ve been using Equiderma’s fly spray, when riding with other friends, their horses have been bothered by bugs while mine has completely not cared! And I love that the ingredients are all natural, as I’ve been switching to cleaner products for myself for a while now.

I also have their shampoo and conditioner, which I have yet to try because I just very rarely give my horse a bath. But I expect those will be great as well!

Equiderma is a must-have in everyone’s tack room. I don’t know what I would have done without the lotion this year, rain rot has been horrible. You just slather it on and it works in a day, no rinsing, smells great. I put it on my OTTBs cannons once a week to prevent cannon crud from coming back. My barn mate is using the scratches paste now and its already working. LOVE the shampoo. Can’t say enough about Equiderma.

Thanks. I’ve ordered some. My gelding has some sort of crud mid mane and has rubbed out a 5 inch span of his thicki, long PRE mane.

I bought the lotion for my TB’s cannon crud and it took it off in 2 hours. I literally just wiped it off. He also had some crud on his face and, boom, gone! I have not tried any of their other products.

Yesterday I scrubbed his mane with betadine soap. And he went right out and rolled dirt into it. Can’t wait to get these new product. Hoping I don’t have to roach that mane!

Has anyone used Hay Wheres That Blue Stuff? Is this comparable, is either better than the other? I have a constant minor case of scratches that I can’t kick.

Started the Equiderma today and it’s easy and pleasant to use. I don’t know about the blue stuff but these products seem very effective

I just gave my mare a bath with Equaderma shampoo followed by Equaderma fly spray, so I agree  I love that the shampoo is natural and gentle, so if some residue remains I don’t have to stress about a bad reaction. Bella is not the biggest fan of bath time, so rinsing isn’t always as thorough as I’d like it to be.

The Equiderma lotion made my mare stock up–bought it based on recommendations here about how well it worked to remove fungus on cannon bones. Tried it multiple times and her legs blew up every time.

How odd…maybe an allergic reaction?
