can anyone explain the ingredient trichloromethyl in Equiderma’s skin lotion product?

I have looked it up any really ca’t find much about using it on horses skin or humans.

The complete name of the ingredient is N-Trichloromethylthio-4-Cyclohexene-1, 2-Dicarboximide (Captan), which is a fungicide.
