Equifit MultiTec boot fit?

I bought a pair of these for daily use. The horse is 16.2 but she has short but sturdy cannons. While the height of the mediums is perfect, the width comes short and there is a 1/2" ish gap between the edges of the boot while done up.

Here is the boot: http://www.equifit.net/boots/product/307-multiteq-front-boot

I know that my T-boots soften and conform to the leg, but these don’t have the same padding. I’m sure if I give the MultiTec straps a bit more of a tug that the gap would close but I don’t want them too snug on her leg, nor do I want any pinching or rubbing where the gap is.

Anybody else have these boots? I may return them because I’m just not sure about the fit.

I have these in the medium and I was surprised by how small they were. My 14.2 pony has substantial bone but they barely close on him.

Okay good to know it’s not just me. I think I will return them and find something with a better fit.

I had heard people having the opposite problem! That the width was too big! Haha.

Hello,

The MultiTeq Boot will form to the horses leg with a handful of uses. At first they lay flat but with use they will provide a better fit. The biggest thing to look for when fitting these boots is with the length of the boot. The straps should be pulled so they velcro sections match. Please let us know if you have any questions about the sizing of these boots at info@equifit.net.

Thanks,
Andrea
