Has anyone gone this year? Wondering how the shopping is.
I was there yesterday with one of my horsey friends! There were a lot of vendors both Western and English and a variety of shops. Cowhide coats anyone? There was a shop with cowhide coats with the hair still on them. The food was great. Not a ton of vendors but a great variety from Chinese food to BBQ to Greek and regular stuff like lemonade and pizza and tacos. And a coffee truck vendor. And a craft sugar cane soda vendor very popular with the kids. Shopping I got a sweatshirt and t shirt and tote with equine affair on them since it was my first time there and I don’t know if I’ll get the chance to go again. I also got some Ariat shoes and some horse treats. My friend bought a bit and that was it. She had a long shopping list but overall she was not happy with the selection. There was some high quality stuff but there was a lot of pretty tack that was not horrible but not very durable. It was very pretty though and a stall with lots and lots of pretty English saddle pads. There was an author with some books about horse women facing everyday life challenges, a romance mystery and a romance. And there was a Leslie the animal communicator.
