LECTURE - includes the fundamentals of biomechanics science,
equine anatomy, equine performance and soundness evaluation,
presentation of case studies & current research projects in
biomechanics using slow motion footage from the Olympics,
Badminton Horse Trials, HOYS and more.

DEMONSTRATION - Practical session using gait & rider analysis
techniques. Demonstration of the biomechanics essentials
using different horses. Understand how and why slow motion
cameras are used in biomechanics analysis. Look at movement
and identify conformation strengths and weaknesses discussing
various disciplines.
