Equine Omega Complete?

Anyone using this? I am trying to find what is IN this stuff, and all I can find on the website is soybean oil.

MegaGain-mechanically expelled organic soybean oil.
Complete-" ", fish oil, and Vit E.

I would love to see if the bottle has anything else on it regarding the ingredients, and how people are liking this compared to feeding regular soybean oil?

My whole barn got onto this stuff. It is great. Nice shiny coats. Anti-inflammatory benefits.

It also for whatever reason seemed to bring the nervous energy level down in the horses that needed to come down a bit, and brought up the energy level in horses that were on the lazy side.

I’ve been using it for my gelding for the last 2 years and always get compliments on his coat. Within about a month of starting him on it he became less expressive in his herd bound behaviours as well. He used to call and scream and swing his butt back and forth while he was tied while trying to tack him up. If there was one other horse with us in the ring and it left him alone he’d freak out. Ever since going on EMC he’s been way more level headed. Doesn’t mind being in the barn alone now. Doesn’t mind trailering alone now.

We used to have to order it by the case from the US but now most of the local tack stores are carrying it up here so it seems to be gaining popularity. Omega’s are supposed to have an anti-inflammatory effect as well and we have had no issues taking him out of work since starting on it.

I can try and remember to take a picture of the bottle for you when I’m at the barn this week. I don’t think it’s got a ton of info on it though.

Before your horse was on this, was he on another type of fat supplement or oil?

No he was just on a complete feed and probiotic.
But other horses in the barn were getting oils and switched to EOC with the changes above.

So I recently learned about this stuff and not to hijack the thread but had some questions.

My horse is currently on ADR Powder (hindgut), Gastrotech (upper gut), 100% pure rice bran oil, MSM, and joint supplement.

The ADR and Gastrotech has done wonders for my horse so I know that he needs some type of gut/stomach maintenance.

So those of you that have your horses on this, would this be something I could basically replace everything I am currently giving him? It would be so great if it could, save me so much money!

Reviews look great, but would love to see if anyone else has personal experience here!

Facts of my horse:
16 y/o OTTB
Moderate/Heavy work
Jumpers - Showing 1.0m to 1.10m
Previous tendon injuries
Hocks recently injected
Monthly Pentosan Gold shots (will keep him on this)

Thanks!

If I am reading correctly this stuff is just fancy soy oil with a healthy serving of nat vit e added. But their recommended serving size is quite high, 4 oz daily. It is no where near a complete supplement in terms of vitamins and minerals. I think most horses would look good eating 4 oz of oil a day.
