I figure this is the best place to post this. I have a chance to get a SafeTMill Original in good working condition. BUT I have never used one. Any tips on training horses for it? Also is $1500 a good price?
Dont know personally how to train one, but my trainer’s horse did spent some time at Ohio State vet hospital and was put on one. He wasn’t the quietest horse on the planet and it went ok with several steps to the intro process. I’d call one of the big vet hospitals and ask them how they do it if you don’t get any better answers here.
