equine vanity plates

When driving in to work this AM I saw license plates that read “AUG UAA” - which would mean nothing to many, but those triplet letters stand for the start and stop codons in protein translation (Geek Speak).

And it got me thinking…I don’t recall ever seeing any equine vanity plates. Anyone care to chime in?

I’ve seen piaffe and a number of equus’s. Mine is IRSHRS which some take to mean Internat Revenue Service

One of my vets has “EQ DOC” on his…and around here I see cowboy stuff but that’s about all I’ve seen.

Around here I’ve seen: EQUUS, WHOOOOA, ADD SCR (a show secretary!), GIDYUP 8, CHAPS

I really want one, but I’ve never been able to think of something clever enough! HORSRDR seems kinda lame and it’s probably taken anyway… :lol:

TRNR (trainer), RIDRSUP (the call for jockeys to mount their horses) by the paddock judge here; my blacksmith has some variation on shoer or blacksmith :D.

My plate used to be JUMPR (JUMPER was taken). Have a friend with HEELSDN (heels down) and another with EVENTR.

I used to have plates that said GON AWAY, fox hunting term. I always wondered what non horses people thought it meant, that I wished I was on vacation??

There are tons here in VA. Mine is a horse enthusiast place with LOVNMY (and a horse head). I have also seen ADORMY (another HE plate), MYTACBX, ILVGLU (a bit of dry humor for you…it’s a horse enthusiast plate as well), and FEI DIVA.

Mine says rdngmic (riding Michele) and has a little bay horse on the side of it. My friend has of2rid (off to ride) I agree with the poster that said there are a lot in VA. I have seen some that I look at and say “I bet their horses name is ___” because it’s on the plate with a horse head on it
