equine vanity plates

Mine says HT2TRT

My friend has “OTTB” on her Ford Mustang.

My truck is “PULSGUD” and my two trailers are Ivysrde and jebsrde. Now I have a new horse and am debating about changing it if I can. His name is Devil…any suggestions?

My friend has “OTTB” on her Ford Mustang.
I had a red '95 Mustang when they first came out and wanted “MYSTANG” for plates; however, it was taken, so I ended up with “REDPONY”.

I’ve seen “TROTTIN” “COWPNY” “4MYAPPS” “MY4WBS”.
I’ve got “MAJIC” for Majestic Dynasty, “2LAUEA” for Too Sweet (lauea=sweet in Hawaiian), and RELILY for RE Painted Lilly. Two of my parents cars and mine.

GELDEM

Used to see that on an equine vet’s truck around here. Haven’t seen it in a while, maybe he retired.

I used to have:
“STB LVR” but when I moved here of course I had to get new plates. So they are now mounted in the garage and tack room.

To avoid confusion I had a good sized decal on the tailgate that had the outline of a pacer with “Got Standardbred?” underneath. The plate could also be taken as “Stable Lover” too.

I have been hemming and hawing of custom plates out here. Not sure what I want to do though. I’ve seen just about every combo of Equus/ Horse/ Pony. Vanity plates are so popular in Cali.

I have 2TOWMY on a horse plate on my truck.
Unfortunately a lot of people ask me who Tommy is thinking it reads 2TOMMY. :sigh:

There’s one of those around here too! I’ve seen cattlemen with variations of 4hooves/4hoofs etc.

Nothing exciting on mine. Thinking about doing something like
ARBDIVA (Arab Diva for my Princess pony)

I had that on my original list. So I’ll say “great minds think alike.”
In Maryland I had “TRAKNER” (as in Trakehner) and “MOUNT UP”

In VA I have Foxhunting tags with: “BLOODY H” and “EEHAW” (the noise my mule makes).
Someone that drives up route 50 from middleburg has a plate that means Trakener (don’t remember the spelling). I always thought that was you.

Since I just bought my new truck I figured it was time to get personalized plates (heck, why not throw the state of CA some extra money?) So mine, when they arrive, will say WATTIES.

To my friend’s autistic son when he was young, a ‘Wattie’ is his word for pony. So mine will mean ‘Ponies’. I’ve held on to that nickname for the past 13 years, so it only seemed fitting to put it on my plates:winkgrin:

A previous farrier had SHOE4U on his truck. Haven’t seen it for a while, so I don’t know but that he may have retired.

I have GRABMANE!

I have seen:

JUMP8

APPYLVR

someone who owns appaloosas should get a trailer plate that says
APP4THAT

hehehe

I wanted OVROXRS or HJGRL or JUMPIT but they were all taken

Right now I have a spay/neuter tag and they charge me for that, so i’m going to wait at least another year for a vanity tag (don’t want to have 2 ‘extra’ charges on my plate). I don’t see them nearly as much in GA as I did in VA while growing up.

Love some of these! Good thread

A friend has “Gallop”…my plate is "QH100.

Slght spinoff…Our state only uses rear license plates. Anyone know of a site for horse/hunter/jumper generic type plates?? Aound here all I find are barrel racers and ropers.
