Equinety horse xl reviews

Hi everyone! Was curious if anyone has tried Equinety Horse XL? I read a article recently that it helped with back soreness and was wondering if anyone else has experienced those same results. With a price of 100$ for 3 months, seems like a great deal.

Thanks!

I use it and love the results I’ve seen. Our massage therapist mentioned she felt a difference in muscle tone last session and she had no idea we’d changed anything. Dressage coach that I see once a month noticed a difference in condition and development. The lady who I chatted to also said it could be used on pets. I decided to try it on my older dog who would get awfully stiff at the end of the day at work. She looks more comfortable - and I took her off for a period and she went back to being sore. I think it would be worth a try for you.

I should have specified it would be for my horse! Haha. I am not ready to buy a new saddle for him which I know is contributing to his back soreness so was hoping this could help him for the time being. Thank you for your response!

I know it was for you horse- just saying it also worked for other four legged friends  I have other eventing and dressage friends that have used the product with great success with their horses. Hopefully you can work something out with your saddle as well if that’s a root cause.

Bumping this up…anyone else given this a try?

a friend of mine just recommended this. She said it was like depo and hock injections in one for her mare.

Hi there! I wonder if you read something I had posted/blogged about it? it REALLY helped my mare with her chronic back soreness issues!! And no, I am not sponsored by them or paid or anything else…in fact I’m a self-declared supplement skeptic who believes that 99% of the supplements out there don’t do jack lol

Was it this article? http://horsejunkiesunited.com/?p=96338

Oh and me being the skeptic that I am…I ran out of it on March 2nd and left my mare off of it just to see what happened…she started to slowly go back to her old ways of being on the forehand and just not being relaxed. And she went into heat SO BADLY!!! I had no idea how much it was also helping her in that regard, wow…she’s back on it now and doing so much better again. So to alteringwego’s post above about it being like depo and hock injections in one, I can totally see that! My mare also hasn’t needed hock injections for the past year that she’s been on Equinety. It was coming up on 1 year since her last injections when I started her on it and she hasn’t needed them since then…so it’s been 2 years now since I injected her! Love this stuff so much! And can’t beat the price either!! I’m trying to get SmartPak to carry it now

Bumping again … any more reviews?

How long before you really noticed a difference? I believe the website says about 2 weeks… but I did a 1 month trial with each of my horses and honestly, didn’t notice much of a difference at all in either. One is a gelding who holds tension in his lumbar region and poll (he also had chiropractic during the time so no idea which helped more, but his relaxation after chiro was on the same level as all previous adjustments without this supplement…), the other is a mare who went into heat during week 3 of giving this product and was still very flank and back sensitive through her cycle. I’ve noticed a way bigger difference, at least for muscle relaxation, with using high grade magnesium so my plan is to stick with that for now.

I started using it in December and noticed an improvement with my guy’s chronic on/off lameness. To be fair we also changed the shoes, but I didn’t reorder it after we ran out a few weeks ago and he was off again. Suffice to say he’s back on it now.

I am normally a skeptic about supplements, but I decided to give this a try based on a friend’s recommendation. My horse has been on it for a week and a half, and I didn’t notice a huge difference right away in his day to day work.

However, after completing our first event this past weekend, I rode him yesterday, expecting him to be a bit sore as he usually is following a competition. I was pleasantly surprised that he was his normal self with no soreness to be found! He felt energetic and forward, as if he hadn’t run an event a few days prior.

This alone is worth it to me, as we usually have to spend a few days after a show getting “back to normal”.

Bumping this for new feedback!

I’ve been using it for about 2 1/2 months, and my guy’s topline is improved. It’s not the sudden 30 day change like all the pictures, but at this point, he’s definitely filling in his hollows. To be fair, I had tried Tri Amino, but I didn’t give it as long, so it might have worked as well. Equinety comes in a 3 month tub, so obviously you might as well keep giving it for that long. I’m very pleased with it.

I have been using it twice a day for about 5 weeks and have not seen any results at all. I am wondering how long it takes to see results. I am giving it to my 13 year old TB who has on/off lameness in his front feet. I am wondering if I should keep giving it to him or try something else. The vet has examined him and thinks shoes may help so he is getting new shoes with padding today.

Has anyone had their horse become more spooky after starting them on this? Thanks!

I love this stuff for my OTTB. He gained muscle and I think he actually is less spooky than he was.
I give him 1/2 scoop twice a day.
However, I did notice mine is more spooky/hot on MSM but I am going to try it again in the next couple days to see if maybe he outgrew that tendency.

Not to single you out, but this is what really bothers me about their advertising. The videos they plaster all over Facebook show really drastic improvements in very lame horses. I think it gives too many people the impression that this is a cure-all for soreness and injuries, and they turn to Equinety instead of pursuing further diagnostics to determine the root cause. I’m not denying that the product can be helpful; I just think their advertising is really misleading.

That makes you, in my book, a creep!! If your horse’s saddle is responsible buy another saddle, or at least get a saddler out.
