Equipe Viktoria Dressage Saddle?

Anyone have one or have tried one? Likes/dislikes? Thanks in advance.

I have a problem with them describing carbon fibre/kevlar as “flexible”.

I tried one at Equitana. I guess it wasn’t really my saddle? The blocks felt uncomfortable. The Olympia felt much nicer.

I tried one, and ended up going with the Platinum instead as I thought it was much more comfortable for me.

I have one and love it. Found my point of balance. It fits both my 3 yr old and 15 yr old. They are both very comfortable in it.

I have an Equipe Bocelli. Haven’t ridden in it very much. I guess it is OK. It was recommended by my fitter for my hard to fit horse. He definitely moves better in it than he did in my Passier. Apparently Charlotte used an Equipe for Valegro but I don’t know which model.

I liked the super-close contact feel, but hated the thigh blocks. There are several different size/shape options for the blocks, but unfortunately none of them worked for me.

I have several friends with the Viktoria, and while they all seem quite happy riding in them, they have been less than impressed with how well they hold up to regular use. One needed the billets replaced after less than a year, and another’s “black” saddle is now mostly brown from a few rides a week in the sun.

The leather on them is beautiful and soft…but for that kind of $$$$ I’d sure hope that you don’t have to start replacing parts after less than a year.
