Equivisor sun visor?
I have been looking at the Da Brim sun visors:

Does anyone recommend those?

Thanks!

I have ridden in all 3 models. The endurance model was too big and I got teased about looking like the Flying Nun. I prefer the Rezzo now. They definitely stay put even in a gust of wind. In fact I can feel my helmet being pulled up but the visor never budged. They are not as cute as some of the others mentioned, but are functional.

I think one of the problems I have is the visor kind of weighs down the front of my helmet and as a result I tense up my neck muscles to keep my head up. (if that makes any sense)

Also I completely agree with you that the visor blocks the breeze from reaching your face. I live in the West and I found when I wore the visor that I was hotter.
Another thing I found is that the visor obstructed my peripheral vision. I would not wear the thing in a busy arena!
I am considering a horseback riding and camping trip in the desert, so a crowded arena will not be a problem! The weight of the Equivisor and blocking air circulation could be a huge problem since I would be riding for 5 to 6 hours a day for 6 days, so thanks everyone for the feedback. I will look into all the other suggestions here!

I have the equivisor and have had no problems. My head is small, like 6 3/4 and the visor has stayed snug during WTC on flat ground and up and down hills. I didn’t notice it blocking any breezes and I appreciate it blocks the sun.

I do not wear it during lessons so have not jumped in it as I do think it blocks some of the peripheral vision (as already mentioned).

Most people don’t seem to find it heavy or hot, so it might be perfect for you. I’d suggest ordering one from Smarkpak and trying it out for a couple of rides to see if it’s a good fit for you. If you hate it, the visor qualifies for smarkpak’s free return. I should have returned mine, but I thought I just needed to get use to it…

That’s a great idea, and I didn’t know that about Smartpak - thank you!
