Does anyone have experience with Erreplus saddles? I have a very short backed, wide, hard to fit gelding. I’m now looking for a fifth saddle and my confidence in saddle fitters has waned. Custom, Sommer and Stubben do not work for this horse.
I had never heard about this brand until about a week ago. Saw it on a website but didn’t look at that page as I was not looking for new. Then 2 days ago my saddle fitter recommended that I look into that brand. I will be interested in following this thread.
My saddle fitter recommended the Erreplu since she said it is built on the Prestige tree. I currently have a Prestige Roma that has gotten a little tight in the shoulders. I am thinking of upgrading from the Roma rather than having it widened.
I wonder if getting a Prestige on trial would give you a sense if the Erreplus Freestyle would fit. There is an Erreplus available DEMO used at Pelham and they have a good trial policy. If you have wither tracings Pelham may be able to help you decide if it is worth taking on trial.
Obviously the Prestige Roma and the Erraplus have hugely different price points.
