Escapade I

Hi, writing for a friend of mine who has an Escapade foal. She said there isn’t much new on the website so is wondering: What’s he up to these days? Is he still competing? If so, at what level and where, so she can follow him.

Thanks.

He just completed the 70-day stallion test, so there should be new photos available (I think on Facebook).

Yes, there are lots of new pictures of him on Facebook. It should also be noted that there are several pictures of very young Escapade progeny trucking around with their amateurs on them at Wellington. He seems to really throw babies that are “born broke” and have great brains…gotta love that!

I know Alicia is in the process of starting an additional website. It has some of his pictures from the 70 day test as well as other stuff.

She also has a FB with many offspring photos and stallion pictures

Wish he was going to be showing this year at Wellington. I am going there in March. Does anyone know if there are plans to show him anywhere in the near future?

I have two Escapade babies, well, one coming 2yr old and one 9 mth old, they both have WONDERFUL MINDS, I’m an amy. and I break them myself, and I actually look forward to getting on my boys.

We are so pleased with them we are breeding back our mare this spring after a year off, I was trying to give the mare away to a good home however, since we’ve kept her all winter and everything she’s thrown has/does love to jump we will repeat the breeding one more time. I’m not getting any younger, but I feel that one more to break will not be such a big ordeal. The boys have been wonderful to teach new things to and there is no fight or “drama” with either one of them.

I absolutely love our Escapade kids and NO ONE has been easier or more supportive to deal with than Alicia, that lady is a first class act. She actually took my call when our second one was born, she was on vacation in Europe and I had no idea what time it was there, but she took the call and was so excited to have another “grand kid”

Some of the people at the barn have “found other stallions” for me to breed to, but both my husband and myself will not change our minds on who to cross with our mare, it will be Escapade or no one. Since I first saw his ad, I’ve cut out his picture and posted in on our bulletin board, as her “pin up” husband.

I’m so grateful to Alicia for standing this wonderful stallion. And look forward to repeating this cross again.

And if you have an Arabian mare, you can get him half priced:)

Thanks, Everyone.
