Does anyone have any reviews on Eskadron’s cross-country boots?
Coming from the H/J word to Eventing I purchased these for my horse. I love them! I feel like they offer a lot of protection. And after a season of eventing they look brand new.
The only negative thing I have heard is that they hold water
Have them and stopped using them. The don’t really hold water but rub really bad. On my cob they don’t rub but with anyone who has clipped legs or thin skin the rub horrible.

I have found them to be super hot. I have preferred the Premier’s or Dalmars…
Thank you. My guy has super thin skin so I’m glad I did not go with the Eskadrons.
I ended up ordering the Premier Equine cross-country boots from Smart Pak today.
The premier boots did not really fit well…I hope they work for you. I went with Ecogolds. Love them and with my welsh cob who can destroy boots for a living they have held up really well. Now three years old and just now starting to show some wear.
For years, I had the older Dalmar fronts and Style backs. When those died in the last year, I switched to Majyk Equipe fronts and Premier backs which are working very well for me. I found the Eskadrons both hot and too big on my horse
and, in Florida, if you keep them in my trailer, they can crack from the heat
Dalmar Open Fronts for $25
Got this in an email from Jeffer’s today, if anyone is looking for new boots!

Tried Dalmars and Premiers on my large warmblood and neither fit well. The eskadrons have been great and offer really really good protection! Con would be that they are pretty warm. Good for horses with big legs and joints
