ESP memo- covid19

ESP management just put out a memo that a groom at one of their May schooling shows has tested positive for covid19. They said they closed and sanitized the barn aisle where they were stabled.

Did they specify the schooling show or are they just leaving people to guess?

Why does this warrant a smiley face? Why is this good for our sport? For the health of the groom? For those he was in contact with? Anyone? Just so you can say I told ya so?? I really don’t get it.

I meant this:cool: not this;). I’m sorry that I upset you, that was not my intent.

I hope for everyone’s sake the groom was wearing a mask. Cleaning the barn isle days after the fact will not help the groom nor anyone who was in contact with him/her.

I hope the employees who had to do the sanitizing don’t get sick. USEF has been receiving calls from people at Tryon complaining that the protocols are not being followed.

Curious as to which protocols at Tryon aren’t being followed?

Kathy Hobstetter posted the letter publicly on Facebook. I will attempt to link.

Thank you! Unfortunate, but probably not unexpected that some aren’t complying. It will be interesting to see if show management actually makes violators leave the grounds.

I also hope that the barn associated with the groom at ESP who tested positive is self isolating.

Shouldn’t they be directing everyone who attended or worked at the show to self isolate for 14 days???
