Estimating Trailer Value?

Does anyone know what is a good way to estimate how much your trailer is worth? I am considering selling my trailer since I haven’t gotten much use out of it in the last few years.

05 Hawk 2 horse w/dressing room and rumber floors. Extra height 7’6’’ with regular width. Has been consistently serviced every year and new tires put on 3 years ago with minimal travel since.

There is now a Kelley Blue Book on trailers, but I think you have to pay to use it. You could try to find comparable trailers on Horse Trailer World.

This will get you a start, is it a bumper pull or gooseneck?

Yep, look at other people’s asking price and make an estimate. Err low if you want it gone fast, and high if you are willing to sit on it and reduce the price later.

A new one probably sells for significantly more than you paid for that one, so you should get practically what you paid for it.

Call your bank or credit union and see if they have Kelly offering. If not, hit a few of the standard Web sites for trailers, note the asking prices, and be guided accordingly.
