My mare has been at another facility getting bred via live cover.
She got estrumate on 6/26 in the afternoon, was bred 6/28, and got another shot of estrumate on 6/29. She was checked on 7/1 and had ovulated.
I haven’t gotten a chance to speak to the vet overlooking them at this facility, but just noticed it on the invoice today. Is giving estrumate after a covering something that people do?
Yes, especially if the mare had fluid.
