So what does everyone use for footing on this https://euroxciser.com/ type of exerciser? The one I am using is outside, uncovered. Currently ‘footed’ in rock hard packed screenings. I was considering adding sand/rubber. But I see some folks have the ground straight up covered in stall mats. I like the idea of the mats, especially to cut down on dust problems. Not sure how they would fair when there is standing water though. I am in eastern PA and not expecting to use the exerciser when the ground is frozen.
Spruce meadows has an indoor one which is just sand. (This was over a decade ago so may have changed).
I have used an outdoor uncovered one which was a concrete base with rubber mats or the poured rubber flooring. It worked well, very low maintenance.
