Eurocommerce Berlin thoughts?

Anyone have foals by this stallion?

Looking to see what type of mare he produces well with? I have always loved him and I am saving up for one last horse foal from my great TB mare before she gets too old to try frozen semen. (She has had 4 foals with fresh)

What about size of the foals?

Just curious about if anyone has foals or young horses out there by him.

The only other stallion I really love that I feel is underutilized is
Tinkas Boy. I really like that he is a smaller stallion, but I also really love Berlin.

Thanks!!

I have photos and videos of my 6 yo stallion by Berlin out of a Quick Star/Le Tot de Semilly mare on my facebook page (Positive Step Farm). I’m pretty sure there are at least a couple more Berlins showing in the Young Jumper program as well.

I just finished a long article about Berlin for Breeding News and Horse Magazine. His offspring are breaking through quite well. He already has some 1.60m jumping offspring and his younger offspring are showing some great results in Youngster classes. His motherline is very strong. His mother jumped at international level and so did his great grandmother. So his motherline is top, he jumped himself at the highest level and his offspring are proving his quality as a Sire.

Thank you.

How are the foals in type?

Assuming because he is a big boy with good bone, he needs a more modern type mare with blood?

My TB mare is very petite, but does pass on size, so I want to make sure that Berlin does well with a smaller finer type mare.

How are the characters of the foals? I have read he himself had a great temperament but I am having a hard time finding offspring and anything about them!!

Titan,
Just looked up your boy!

He looks great!!

I see you are friends with Nancy.

I have 2 Roc USA geldings one is 7 and one is 3.

Love them both and they are amazing jumpers. Wish I had better resources here in AZ because the 7 year old needs to be a derby and jumper with someone right now!!!

In your opinion bloodline wise, would Berlin give me a big difference in type then what I have with Roc?

I love my two boys but always wanted to try Berlin.

Here is the 3 yr old…

Lucky you, I see the Roc babies around the midwest in the jumpers all the time and they are very athletic. I don’t know the Rocs personally but my Berlin has a very easy going personality. He goes from the young jumpers to the hunter derbies and back without batting an eyelash. He may be laid back but he has a massive jump and can actually beat some of the quicker horses because he is so handy. Maybe Bachus can give you the names of the other offspring and you can look them up as well. I know that there are at least 2 other 6 yos in the YJC program. One from the same breeding program in NED as mine.

Will this be available online? Would love to read it Bachus.

Yes, a mare with blood would be good indeed for Berlin! His offspring are very careful and they have good characters. Important is that the mare has a good back.

Here a link with his offspring that is competing, these results are documented since oct.

My articles are coming online and printed, here is the link; http://breedingnews.com/

Thank you!

Looks like he was sold last year to keep breeding.

So now he is just Berlin. Not Eurocommerce Berlin.

I did happen to see a US semen broker offering frozen from 2015.

What is the best broker in the US for these types of transactions. I am contemplating next year or 2017.

Wish there were photos of these horses on horse telex. But at least I can see there are successful offspring!

If you would like to know more I can bring you in contact with the Breeding manager from the Stud who owns Berlin. Yes, the Netherlands almost lost Berlin last year.

Oh, very interesting cross Berlin-Quick Star- Le Tot! Will check out your FB page!

One of our French clients has an intact son available but I’m not at all familiar with the dam line (Persan II x Le Saussey). Absolutely stunning animal, I’m totally smitten by him - photo

There is a stallion here in FL by Berlin (Berlin x Diamant de Semilly). Looks like a nice boy and hopefully they will take him to approvals. His name is Five Kings HsH. You can find him on Facebook or google his name

Super!

Got this by email…
