Blenheim is always a lovely course, set in the historic park with truly beautiful trees, the lake, quite steep undulations - and in most years not as many people as Badminton and Burghley so the experience is slightly more relaxed for spectators. Should be a good competition.

Wowza. A roster steeped in talent – and top class horses. Now… who wants to take a stab at who will win???

I couldn’t make a prediction because so many nations are becoming more and more competitive: the Irish, the Belgiums, the Swiss and one can never discount the Swedes, who seem a bit quiet at present. There are several very solid Italian riders. It will be interesting when Poland can field a good team. Even the Spanish and Portuguese are beginning to run as individuals. Definitely something to look forward to.
