I remember him, he was in the Ottawa/Kingston area, I think, and IIRC was CSHA approved.
Perhaps they would have a picture of him in their files?
He was a nice horse.
I had an Evensong mare that I had for a few years, bought her in the Ottawa area and brought her with me here to California. I know another gal from the area who has an Evensong gelding and I remember her having pictures of Evensong and a little bit about his history. Never could find much on him online tho. PM me if you want more info!
I rode Evensong when he was at Cabin Branch Farm (1982), owned by Fred Graham, in Warrenton, VA. He was a magnificent stallion. I had a photo or two, but don’t know where they ended up.

Thank you for sharing these photos! I have a 27 year old Selle Francais Evensong mare from Ottawa. I have owned her since 2005 and once spoke to her breeder who said she had 3 full siblings. I tried to breed her in 2011, unfortunately even with the team at New Bolton helping it was not to be.
