More uniform pics (there’s some doozies)
Did someone have a competition for ugliest uniforms and just forget to tell the rest of us about it?
I must say I really didn’t like the US’s but after seeing some of the others… :lol:
Ralph Lauren designed the U.S.A.'s uniforms which is why they look they way they do - “hello, Buffy…do you want to go to the Yacht Club tonight?”
And of course the USA’s were made in China.
In that first photo of the US team they look like flight attendants from back in the day.
And the Spanish teams were made in Russia (or maybe it was a Russian designer?). Both teams outfits are equally ugly. :yes: I like the Italian and Brazilian ones. And how lucky for the Brits to have Stella McCartney as their designer.
I do like the red scarf with white stripes on the US guy (pic #6 in the second link in the OP). The “preppy look” they show is better than the double-breasted suit jacket in the first pick.

Given how terrible pencil skirts look on women who are even halfway muscled in the thigh, and given how developed the leg muscles are on women who are competitive track, swimming, never mind the weight-lifters…yeah, probably not a good look.
Good point about the muscular thighs…
Do the women even have a pants option?
