Eventers in the Syracuse, NY area

I recently relocated from Seattle, WA to the Syracuse, NY area and am looking to connect with fellow eventers, eventing barns and trainers in the area. I am also looking to purchase property within an hour or so of Syracuse that would be suitable for at least 2 horses.

Check out both the Area 1 website www.area1usea.org and the Area 1 Facebook page which is pretty active! Welcome to Area 1. There’s a very active adult rider program in the area too.

I’m also curious about eventing barns in Syracuse, as I’m moving there in the next year from Montana. I’m also really worried about having trail access - right now I’m extremely spoiled and can access forest service trails right from where I’m at. It makes conditioning a breeze So I’m hoping to find somewhere in the Syracuse area with access to trails as well.
