I live in Winter Garden, and everywhere I look, there doesn’t seem to be an eventing barn within 30 miles of me. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a 4 (nearly 5) year old OTTB who I event with, and she is a rockstar.
Marcea Funk (FB Page Market Street Eventing) provides boarding & training in the stabling at Rocking Horse, Altoona, which would be around 30 miles from Winter Garden I think. Flight Check, who also events in Central Florida, might have some other suggestions for you. A possible problem is that the snowbirds will soon be coming south and a lot of options may well be booked already.

Ocala is not very close to Winter Garden. I would check with Marcea, Hilda Donahue and Cindy (Flight Check on COTH). There is also Maren Foster, who should be local to the Orlando area, and is at all the shows with clients.
What are you looking for? Weekly lessons, monthly lessons, just meeting up at shows?
The winter in Florida is overwhelming - there are clinics and lessons and shows and symposiums. Make the most of it!

I think that ActiveVolcano is looking for stabling for her 4 yo OTTB. A quick search gave Ashmore Equestrian Center in Apopka, which is only about 10 miles from Winter Garden, but I would have to wonder if it’s still operating as their website has some unfortunate welcome messages that imply it may not be (or the website is woefully in need of updating).
Checking their FB page, it looks like they are still active so it’s just the website that is in need of attention & clean up.
Hilda sold Ashmore to hunter/jumper people, but i think she still teaches out of there.
Allan-Clover Sport Horses (formerly of Brandywine, MD) is now located in the Clermont area. I think they might only have boarding for those who are in a partial/full training program with them. They are wonderful trainers.
Jennie Jarnstrom has her own Class Act Farm in Apopka. 4* rider, excellent horse woman.

pls give “Trillium Sport Horses” a search on FB Erin has some room in her barn!
Unfortunately Trillium are based in Anthony - over 70 miles from Winter Garden. It’s even further away than Ocala!
