Hi folks!
I’ll be moving to the Denver area next summer and am starting to research eventing barns. It looks like I’ll end up in either the western or northern suburbs. Any suggestions?

I can’t think of any west or reasonably north. Everybody is south. I live in Golden (about 60 miles drive from the horse park) and travel south to school there or Spring Gulch.
The ones I recommend are South where you have Dani Sussman (Aspire Eventing), Laura Bacchus (Pendragon Stud), Lynn Klisavage (Mile High), Martha Deeds (Middle Ground).
I train with John Staples out of Wichita, KS (he is my “overall” trainer), John McConnell for stadium (Castle Rock) and Jessica Greer for dressage (Berthoud). So, you can see there is a lot of driving involved.

Katy Groesbeck is now living and training in the Denver area. https://kgeventing.com/ Although I haven’t trained with her, I have had her train a horse for me and I can’t recommend her too highly.

Any good ideas for reasonably priced housing in the areas that are good for eventing? We have a $400,000 budget for a house, and we’ll need a decent sized yard for our crazy border collie.
