I have been offered a job opportunity that would let me move to Lexington KY area, which I am very excited about. I have visited several times during Rolex and love it. I have a few questions for you folks!
Boarding recommendations:
I have one ottb mare that has excellent ground manners BUT has heaves and needs daily medication and perhaps allergy shots if I’m traveling.
MUSTS:
consistent, excellent care
Gives daily medications/supplements
Will feed special diet if I pay for it (due to allergies)
HIGHLY PREFERRED:
Pasture board with turnout
Outdoor trails or grass ring (can’t really ride in dirt ring with her allergies)
Small (private ideally), quiet barn hopefully without a big lesson program
Trailer parking
Individual tack lockers/rooms
Small group turnout
Brought in to feed (needs meds)
Will look outside lex to georgetown, midway, etc
I am a quiet, respectful boarder and treat your property like my own, clean up after myself, etc… my momma taught me well!!
