I noticed on some of the riders (that I could see) had one number on their saddle pad, and then the horse had a separate number on the bridle. Does anyone know why this is?
Were they two different numbers or both the same?
If two different, bridle number may have been the horse’s ID number for the event (although usually it is the same as the rider’s number) while the number on the saddle pad is the competition number / rider number.
If both the same, that’s just where that horse and rider like to have their number displayed.
