Eventing horses bloodlines : thoroughbred in the future ?

Hello,

I wrote an article about eventing horses bloodlines (here http://www.equichannel.cz/plnokrevnici-na-olympijske-vsestrannosti) and I must thinking about it every day.

I thought, that thoroughbred are still the best choice for eventing, but I heard, that in the future they are not so good choice because more technical cross country etc.

What do you think about ?

Many current event horses are over 1/2 TB. Just because they are not registed with the Jockey Club does not mean that TB blood is not an important component of event horses.

There is a thread about this from the last 10 days. If you search for it you will see the % of TB in many of the different horses who participated at London.

I´m sorry, I go to search this thread.

thanks for reply

Wow! I an going to find a way to get an english translation. Awesome!

Thanks  i love bloodlines and pedigrees a I want to discuss with other people about it

in my arcticle phrase “v mat. linii u” means tracing through damsire line.

Thoroughbreds excel at technicality. They jump better and cleaner when they are tired than the typical WB.
