Hi all and happy new year! I’m making the transition from H/J to Eventing and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for someone to take lessons from in the Atlanta area. The catch is that I’m currently without a horse so it will need to be someone who has lesson horses available. I don’t want to start looking for a horse until I have a better feel for the discipline but it’s been pretty discouraging trying to find anywhere with lessons. I’m basically in the middle of a Atlanta so I know anywhere will be a little bit of a drive for me. Thanks!
Try Lisa Anderson who manages the riding at Chastain Memorial Park and Amphitheatre. She has evented at high levels and is a Pony Club A.
Candace Bell just moved there. I took lessons from her and really liked her. I’m not an eventer but a fox hunter. And am bringing along a young horse. I thought she was great at knowing when to say ‘let’s work on this’ and when to say ‘you’re ready’. She’s on FB or I’ll be glad to get her phone number if you’re interested.

Go With it Farms is a great eventing barn. It has 3 locations. They compete a lot.
