A friend may be moving to the Sheridan, WY area and was asking about the eventing atmosphere. Is there one? I’m sure it’s mostly geared to western riding but thought I’d ask here to help her out.
Sheridan is absolutely gorgeous, but I’m not sure how big the eventing scene is there as I only rode western when I was in that area (it has been a very long time so things may have changed). Gillette is 1.5-2hrs or so away and there is an eventing community there. Have your friend get in touch with the Powder Basin Equestrian Association which hosts a USEA event, they may have good info for the Sheridan area as well.
