We are moving to Warrensburg Missouri in a week! I am currently horseless, so I will be looking to beg, buy or borrow a horse. Anyone familiar with the area? It seems like a predominantly western/trail riding area but there also seems to be a significant “Arabian” scene there as well. I have found a couple places that look potentially promising. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas. We are moving for my husband‘s job, and I am leaving my job, so I’m thinking about possibly looking into part-time work at an equestrian facility. I have tons of practice with that and have worked for a BNR before.… So many things to think about, any ideas?!
There are several people in the Kansas City area if you’re willing to look more that direction. Also Springfield and Columbia area. Shoot me a PM if you want some names

You’re about midway (in time if not distance) between the Kansas City area and Columbia. Both have friendly Combined Training groups - Mid-America (MACTA) headquartered at Heritage Park in Olathe, KS and Columbia Dressage & Combined Training Association. Both spread out to cover all of southern Missouri and, as was said, MACTA for one has members in Springfield & Joplin.
