I am attempting to run an eventing YouTube channel but I’m looking into what eventers may actually want to watch! I was looking at doing helmet cameras (I have access to a GoPro), vlogs at events and lessons but I’m looking to see if there is any type of videos people enjoy (or think they might) that they would like to see! Also I’m always looking for more equestrian YouTubers to watch

I like how to videos (original Evention series was good), and Doug Payne does good voice over analyisis of his cross country go pro videos. I generally don’t find vlogs very interesting, but I suspect I am not your target age demographic haha. My question to you would be what are your qualifications that I would want to watch you on youtube?
How Tos are always fun, I second Evention and really wish there were more of those. But a lot of that does depend on qualifications, I don’t really want to watch videos by someone who isn’t a really good pro or at least riding upper levels successfully. What are your strengths? Are you good at coming up with exercises jumping or on the flat? Are you good at explaining aspects of riding biomechanically (i.e. things to help with sitting trot, leg swinging back, etc)? Are you awesome at braiding and grooming? etc. What things do you know better than just about anyone else you know?
I loved evention.
How to videos with actual problems on horses. Not $75,000 horses that aren’t actually experiencing the problem the video is showing you how to solve. That’s been my frustration with equestrian coach. Not realistic at all.
