I was switching from “watching on my phone in the car” to “watching at home on my TV” during the hold- and I hope the fall wasn’t shown on TV. Those of you who know more about the sport or event than I do- I thought it was plausible that any fall that looked like it could be significant might be cause for the horse ambulance as an abundance of caution/not wanting to have a problem shown on TV in prime time, whereas on another day the ambulance would have come out if it were ugly. Do you think that’s plausible, or is it more likely that the ambulance is reflective of the severity of presentation?

My mother (a rider, but not a follower of the sport) said she tuned in to day 2 of dressage “and I saw the loveliest ride but I didn’t catch who it was.”
I said “you saw Michael Jung, Mom.”
Then I had to explain how I knew that’s who she saw. In the end we agreed it was in fact Chipmunk, despite the complete lack of identifying characteristics she was able to recall, other than that it was a lovely go that reminded her of pure dressage.
All that said… Chipmunk is a bit small of a name for a horse like that!
