I thought 40 minutes of eventing dressage, each test presented in its entirety, was pretty darned good.
Oh, and while writing this comment I realized there’s another 40 minutes in the segment that’s showing now. The Chinese rider was really very lovely, and Becky and Comet had a lovely test.
They showed parts of the first and third group, so I think we can expect probably one or two more sessions “tomorrow” for some value of tomorrow.
An hour and a half of eventing dressage is a freaking miracle as it is.
I wonder if we’ll be able to buy DVDs that are complete. You think they’d think of doing that.
I did send an email to NBC begging them to break the coverage into shorter segments. 7 hours is a lot to record; I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up with it.
DH thought it was hilarious that the commentators didn’t even get a trip to Hong Kong, but were commenting from New York.
