I posted a little while back about a possibly pregnant rescue donkey. We still haven’t been able to confirm her pregnancy, but she has lost weight everywhere else as her belly has expanded (she was /extremely/ obese, with a possible history of founder). The vet is coming out to do exams, vaccinations, etc. soon, and she said we can check her out then. It’s a little frustrating, because the only livestock vet is an hour away.
”‹”‹”‹”‹”‹”‹Anyway, she has been vocalizing a LOT lately. Normally Syl is not particularly vocal, but she’s been quite chatty the last few days. Not different sounds than usual, just a lot more of them. Is that typical at all? Or a sign of anything? Maybe she’s hungry, or want pickles and ice cream?
