So I get tagged on this video on fb. I know exactly what it is from the still at the beginning without even playing it. Paraphrasing it says this rider is deaf and mute. She dedicated this song to her deceased father. Horse is a clients horse she’s only been riding 20days. Note that she has no saddle or bridle on the horse. She is using the American Indian style of riding with no voice. Lol. It’s Stacy westfall if you haven’t guessed already in her 06 congress freestyle. Now to my knowledge she is not a mute nor deaf. Lol some stories people can come up with sometimes. Don’t believe everything you read on fb. Person that sent it to me believed it and many others. I did have to set that record straight though lol
She is not deaf and mute. There are other versions where it’s her first ride on this horse, or her dad died that morning. It’s crazy. The ride is good enough without embellishment.
Preaching to the choir, I would say
I don’t think I know a horseperson who hasn’t corrected that one on FB a few times by now!
Assume everything posted on FB is wrong and you’ll rarely be mistaken.
The sad thing is, it’s been horse people responsible for the last half-dozen or so times that video has come across my FB news feed.

But remember, there are “horse people” and there are horse people
Oh, come on! Everybody knows that you can’t post anything on the internet that isn’t true!
I am always amazed at the stuff I see on Facebook that, if the person sharing it had engaged even one brain cell to critically evaluate it, would be immediately recognized as something that couldn’t possibly be true.
actually she did dedicate that ride to her father who did pass away
