I am graduating from undergrad with a degree in Rehabilitation and am heading to OT school fall of 2012, so during my year off id LOVE to intern at a rehabilitation horse back riding facility. If anyone knows of one within an hour from cape cod (i live about 15 min over the bridge) please let me know

Go here: http://www.narha.org/narha-centers/find-center Select “MA” in the state drop-down, and hit enter.
From there, if there aren’t any location-wise that suit you, I’d call the next closest one and ask if they know of others (not every program is NARHA certified, nor do they have to be).

If you are heading to OT school your better bet would be to look on the American Hippotherapy Association (AHA) website. You can find an therapist (OT, PT, SLP) in your area.

Therapeutic riding through NARHA is also a good option as you can get some experience with “adaptive” riding rather than therapy sessions.
