I’ve used my neighbor’s round pen here and they’re in the past and she hasn’t charged me. However, I’m starting to work my little feedlot rescue and I asked her if I can use it 2 or 3 times per week. It’s an outdoor round pen, I do maybe 20 minutes - 10 min of lunging, 10 riding. I want to make sure I’m compensating her properly for generosity. When I asked her how much she told me to just give her whatever I think is fair. I have no idea what I should be giving her… what do you guys think would be a fair price per month for that amount of use?
$5-10 a session, like a haul in fee for arena use maybe?

I’d halve the arena fee (it’s pretty short use time, and just in my mind round pens should not be as expensive as arenas), sooo…3x/wk at $5, around $120/month, say offer around $60? With a friendly caveat that you have NO idea how much is fair for that kind of use and are totally open to a counteroffer from neighbor if you’re off-base?
