Fake tail does weird things to pony’s manhood

Ok, I’ve seen a lot but this is a new one for me.

I have a pony with a scraggly pathetic tail, and to make matters worse he’s quite proud of it, waving it all over the place. So I’d like him to wear a fake tail at horse shows, and preferably one with a little weight to it to make it look nicer and also hopefully quiet down the grand display he likes to make with it.

Before going out and buying him an expensive accessory, I thought I’d try one I already have (wrong color) just to see how he might react to it. This is what happened:

I’m just.

WTF

This lasted for a good 45 minutes in the stall, then I took him out and had a kid ride him and he at least put his member mostly away, while also carrying his new tail decidedly to one side. Otherwise seemed unbothered, jumped around as normal.

But, um, yeah.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

He is one that drops when being groomed sometimes, but when he drops it looks, ummm, straight and normal. NOT pointed south when the rest of him is headed north.

He wants to point at his tail to tell you he thinks it feels weird, but he doesn’t have fingers so he’s improvising…

I think you need to consider this boys overall sacral and posterior spine , tail and nerve comfort / soundness. Reference to the sad story, recently meeting its end in Horse Care forum.

Man, I agree. While I can appreciate all the funny comments, this guy is telling you something is wonky in the back end. Adding weight to the tail is doing weird things to the pelvic muscles, and you’re seeing that in his penis. The talkative tail, the penis here, and the crooked carry are all pointing to something pretty NQR.

Please change this pony’s name to Boogie Nights immediately.
Thank you.

I agree w the two of you. Something really appears to be aggravated by the tail.

First - you definitely have the appropriate user name to be commenting! :rofl: And second, I do agree, that while it is funny, it is also definitely worth investigating further to see why the tail is causing trouble. Certainly not a normal response!

He’s uncomfortable and hopefully you’ll use this opportunity to investigate. Would love to know what the vet finds.

I thought the same.
