Yep my daughter rode until she fell asleep today.

As you can see I have finally talked her into a western saddle pad. Yay!!!
She is now catching him and leading him by herself.

Luckily he is very mindful of stepping on the rope.
The kids are enjoying both horses still and thanks to the advice I received here, the TB is putting on weight despite the Texas heat.

I was recently told about a donkey that had been abandoned on a country road. Yep he now lives at our farm with the cows.
Apparently my daughter is the donkey whisperer.

Then my daughter talked the neighbor right out of his donkey so hers would have a friend. He was not abused or anything, but he was living alone in a tiny paddock because the horses beat him up all the time.
