Fasig Tipton November Sale On Now (Tues Nov 7th)

I realize JS has been successful in the business, but where is the money coming from for all these purchases? Between horses and farms it is huge investment–does JS have some type of syndicates/partnerships (or non-horsey business profits?)

BloodHorse doesn’t have much on him; their first mention of him is a few paragraphs detailing his $4,350,000 expenditure at this year’s Keeneland Sept. sales. He bought 7 horses there. The headline does call him a newcomer.

The name is too common for Google to be of any help.

Maybe it is not the same John Stewart I was thinking of-long time Kentucky Blood stock person, very successful but not mega rich (which this seems like a mega-rich endeavor :)) (I may be thinking of John Stuart -my oops!)

John Stuart had Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services. He was a bloodstock agent and consignor for many years. This “new” John Stewart owns Middleground Capital in Lexington, KY.
