Favorite / Best Quality Polo Wraps?

Looking for input on everyone’s favorite brand of polo wraps. I don’t mind if they’re more expensive, but cheaper is always better! Also don’t mind having to “source” them, but locally available is preferred.

TIA!

I think it all depends on the type you prefer. I prefer a thinner wrap with some “stretch”, that isn’t too long. My horse has long legs, but I hate the thick bulky sausage like polo wraps. I quite like the BR polo wraps for just plain polos, they are of good quality, and they fit my preferences. My favorite wraps though are either the T-sport wraps (which are quite pricey, but they absolutely fit the bill of thin and stretchy and form-fitting), and the combination wraps. I have had a really poor experience with the Eskadron Climatex combination wraps, but I seem to be the minority of those who have them in my barn. I have just found a set that I really like, and they are quite affordable! They are a thin fleece material on the bottom half, and a track bandage style on the top half.

I prefer exercise wraps done with Eskadron liners and Saratoga bandages (separate, not combos).

For polos, my favorites are the Waldhausen. I like some stretch, and hate the super fluffy ones.

I LOVE the Eskadron climatex!

I use mostly Classic Equine or Pro Choice Or Lettia. I prefer the Classic ones. I think my next pair will be a pair from SmartPak.

These are my FAV. Now to find somewhere in Canada with them…I bought the pair I have at the Spruce tack shop, but didn’t see them listed on the website last time I checked. :frowning:

I actually JUST called them an hour ago, and they have the black ones in stock! Was pondering getting them shipped, but one of the girls is going to the summer series, so I’ll just see if she’ll grab a couple sets for me instead.

My favorite pair right now are Horze ones

They aren’t, too long too, thick or, too thin. and they are pretty durable mine are over a year old I wash them all the time and they are still going strong.

and for those who can’t get the waldhausen wraps or can’t find the color you need Horze does these

I have never used them but I have been very happy with all my Horze products.

I don’t like Vac’s. Thickness and texture is good, but not enough stretch.

Thank you for this! Can’t wait to try these. Tired of mail ordering polos that turn out too thick and slippery. Breaking them in helps but just not ideal for me. I love an excuse to buy something new

Repeating my mantra…

“You are selling the horse. You DO NOT NEED more tack.”

(but my black polos are looking scraggly and worn…)

Word of warning about these–I have them and I cannot for the life of me get them to stay put on my TB who has relatively long cannon bones (wears 14" standing wraps in front, 16" in back). I’ve tried wrapping them a few different ways and no dice. They work well for a shorter legged beastie.

My favorites are Classic Equine. Thin, cheap, and just the right amount of stretch right out of the package.
