I love the Essex shirts Talent Yarn shirts! They work great as I ride in both the hunters and jumpers and can easily be used in both!
I think I’m definitely going to order a Tredstep shirt. Thought this might also be great to wear under a shadbelly and the stock tie/pin would still cover up the collar/snap!
very impressed with the new JPC Kelsey Long sleeve Mesh under sleeve ,snap button shirt at $55.00 You can’t go wrong
Cheval shirts, without question! Lovely material, beautifully cut, and so, so pretty! The stretch fabric is especially amazing. And, for all of us Canadians, the company is Ontario-based and all the shirts are manufactured in Canada. The owner of the company is so lovely as well - it’s really nice to feel you’re supporting a wonderful person, not just a big company.

Another vote for the ariat shirt with the mesh panels!
Yup! One thing I do to all the snap collar shirts is to sew on an extra snap at the base of the neck to prevent the gruesome gapping.
I just wore an Ariat Sunstopper Show shirt this weekend. It is a technical fabric, with a snap collar and mesh under the arms. It is a pull over, that only has snaps that go down to jacket level, so no more gapping buttons. I was very skeptical that any type of shirt fabric could make that much of a difference once you put it under a wool jacket, but it did feel so much more comfortable, even under my very old, heavy jacket. They retail around $50, so you just can’t beat that. I had to get a second today, because I had to wear what was previously my favorite Ariat shirt to show, yesterday, and there was a big diffenece. My friend, who is an Ariat dealer, said they are showing the XS and S backordered until Sept., so if you can find one, jump on it now! She, also, said she wore her similarly styled Essex shirt(which cost twice as much), yesterday, and was not nearly as happy with it.

Wondered what show shirts other COTHers wear, like, and why?
I usually buy Hadfield’s show shirts. Although they are more $ the fabric is very good quality and the shirts seem to have more room though the chest. Also they have hidden buttons.
I have some shirts from OS Apparel, that have a similar fit and the hidden buttons.
Tailored Sportsman!
Breathes well in warm conditions, not too tight of wrist cuffs or neck piece and is a very high end shirt for the money! Also, comes in many colors which is a plus!

Yay for Winston!! I love the Sydney – I have it in short and long sleeve.

I have the Winston in the Sydney style. I love it. Its very comfy and stretchy and has little elements that I think make it extra classy (the square buttons).

Small Change you could not have made my day more - thank you so much for the kind words and your support- it means so much!
a GIANT YES for Cheval shirts…
I wear mine to the office as well. They are so well made and flattering. I am a size 16 and it still looks great on me!!
FITS Claire stretch seersucker. Looks crisp and neat, and I like that the wrap neck has a high choker look (I’m old school–ok, I’m OLD lol). I have long arms and there was plenty of crisp, pressed-looking cuff peeking out of my show coat. Expensive but worth it, and they wash really nicely too.
Essex talent yarn and the RJ Classics new coolmax! Both have great stretch and breathability!!!

Me three!! Love the Ariat show shirt with the mesh back/sides and the regular looking front. I might be the only person in my neck of the woods on the A circuit who doesn’t love the Essex Talent Yarn. 9/10 people have those on, but I find they run small and are short…
I just tried out Equine Couture for the first time, and I LOVE them!! I have the Cadet Show Shirt and also one of their Coolmax shirts. Both fit great; I like the fabric, and haven’t had any issues so far.
I love the FITS and Romfh.
Le Fash show shirts 100% They’re awesome! I love the stretchy bamboo and the classy open plackets. www.lefashny.com
