Favorite Customizable, Monogramable Saddle Pads?

Pretty much what the title says.

I run social media for a few places, and I am wanting to put on a contest for one of them. The prize would be a saddle pad with the farms logo on it.

I’m also interested in getting a couple done for my trainer as a gift.

Where are your favorite places to get custom, monogramable saddle pads? They would be business monograms. I would love if I could get a white pad with colored trim. However, I’m pretty open to options.

I’ve been pretty happy with the Smartpak in-brand pads and their embroidery services. There’s a free embroidery code for the month of April floating around that will save you $$$$.

the ogilvy baby pads are where it’s at. they aren’t really baby pads…they’re much more like a regular saddle pad, and you can fully customize them on ogilvy’s site. shipping takes a while, though.

Check out Trio Equestrian on Etsy. Their jumper pads are super cool.

Definitely recommend Two Socks! I’ve ordered both the off-the-rack versions of their designs, and worked with her on a custom show pad, and was very very happy with the results!

I have a wide range of customizable pads (toklat, wilkers, high point, mattes). All are nice, but the most cost effective, especially if you want several, is to not go with high-end custom.

My preferred method is to by a stack of the plain quilted schooling pads (Dover, smartpak). Then I take them to our local embroidery place and get the monogramming done.
A: they can keep your custom farm logo on file
B: you can see the various shades of thread and font styles in real life, not off a computer screen
C: you’re supporting a local business
D: I find price-per-pad works out to be less than a fully-customized pad from an online store.

Love the Ogilvy baby pads, they are more like a rectangle pad without the straps.

BobbiGees found on ebay and Etsy

I love the ogilvy baby pads, I’ve had great luck with them holding up. Their thickness is about perfect for me too.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will look at a couple local embroiders. Two Socks Design is actually “local” as well. However, I only see her at shows. I will shoot her an email.

I’m not a fan of the Ogilvy Baby Pads. The one time I liked the look of it was on a slab sided, large withered TB. Anything else and I can’t get it to sit right. I think they are a great thickness and well made, but I just can’t get them to sit right.

Toklat Classic III. Completely custom color, piping, trim.

Yabbut, you will have about $70 in if you do that.

IIRC, I think I did baby pads and local embroidery with my own custom design for $15-20 each. This did not include creating the design.

You’ll always have a bigger laundry bill if you do anything other than a baby pad going on the naked horse. I think that’s the point of having the baby pad.

Good on ya for going matchy-match, OP. It’s so hard keep the Hunter Princess trousseau/horses-as-Barbies alive. And it’s really important to do that if you spent your whole deprived childhood with your nose pressed up to the Fancy Barn Glass and spent decades waiting, plotting and designing your own custom stuff. You can’t finally assemble that… and then have Matchy-Match go out of style!
