All the Wild Horses, documentary about the mongol derby (which is in itself an incredible thing to follow. Those horses are so tough, as are the riders)

“Being A.P.” More about being a jockey but good nonetheless.
Buck. I audited his clinics in Maine way back in early 1990s and I thought he was great. The documentary is beautifully done.
Unbranded is great!
My non-horsey but long distance hiker SO also loved it. The cinematography was excellent!
When I started riding at our barn in 2000 Buck was coming every other year to Piper Ridge. He was pretty much unknown in New England, but a couple of boarders went to his clinics faithfully. They said he was a great trainer but at that point his presentation style was a bit rocky. A huge group from the barn went to see “Buck” in an actual movie theater. Terrific! There is still a poster tacked to the barn’s bathroom wall. I still watch the DVD from time to time. Horse training has a back seat until the 7 DVD training videos came out. BO and a friend/boarder were doing the clinics so I’ve been to 4-5.
We went to a Ray Hunt clinic a couple of years before he died. He wasn’t mounted, sat on the side wrapped in a blanket. It didn’t slow him down. He told everyone to say “down” when the inside hind hit the ground at the walk. One woman had it wrong every stride, multiple loops around the arena. They alternated “down.” “down.” She never got it. I should look for something online.
