I have a small pony (11.1 h) with a fairly refined face. He hates fly masks. However, he needs one.
Usually small pony masks are double labeled for foals. The Farnam one is cut quite differently from a horse type mask - not much poof around the eyes and the strap is down near the muzzle instead of across the jaw near the throatlatch. It doesn’t stay on past one good rub, and the velcro doesn’t even have to disconnect.
I think he’d be best off with a pretty simple mask, double velcro, no ears or weird nose flaps, that’s cut like a regular horse mask. Any suggestions? Thanks!
